Each piece in my collection is crafted by hand, one at a time, in Portland, Oregon.
My practice centers on dark, iron and manganese-rich stoneware, with occasional explorations of porcelain. Rich in texture and character, these materials do much of the work in shaping the final form, guiding a process in which no two pieces are identical, and no reproductions are made.
Designed for everyday use, these functional pieces of art are intended to cultivate moments of intimacy and ritual and to encourage a tactile bond between maker and user through their weight, texture, and form, grounding everyday experiences in beauty and craftsmanship.
While my work is made in small batches and pieces may share similarities, each vessel stands as a singular reflection of my practice.
